State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Tatarstan “Tatarstan Center of Scientific and Technical Information" (“Tatarstan CSTI” for short) has extensive experience in the field of scientific and technical information, intellectual property, as well as in the area of innovation management. The company was founded in 1957 in favor of creation of the all-union scientific and technical information network.
Today, Tatarstan CSTI is the core of innovative infrastructure in the region and a major supplier of scientific and technical information to enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan. Furthermore, Tatarstan CSTI is the only state institution that addresses issues of registration, storage and management of scientific and technological activities in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The coordinator of Tatarstan CSTI is the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan CSTI was also admitted under the guidance management of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. Additionally, the CSTI is a supporting organization of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks (“Rospatent”) in the Republic of Tatarstan. For that reason Tatarstan CSTI is responsible for intellectual property rights in Tatarstan. These rights include: patents, trade marks, and copyright.
To achieve its goals, CSTI works closely with the ministries and departments of Russia and Tatarstan (i.e. Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, “Rospatent”, Federal Institute of Industrial Property, State Standard of Russia, All-Russian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.).
As a result, highly qualified specialists (including seven Ph.D. holders) of CSTI, government support, and long-term cooperation with Russian and foreign organisations guarantee our excellent product quality and service.
